Lately I've noticed that I'm back into the not-wanting-to-do-anything slum. Which happens every once in awhile. I find it difficult to want to hang with friends/family or go run errands or go to work. I mean running errands or going to work isn't always the most fun thing to do any how but all other things seem like chores too.
Maybe it's these allergies that feel like they are taking over my life. For 4 days now I've had constant drainage down the back of my throat, which makes for a lot, I mean A LOT, of coughing. It tends to worsen at night. So I cough myself awake, which makes for less sleep and a tired me all day.
I've never had allergies before now. Who knew they could be such a pain.
On the plus side sitting at home has allowed me to work on wedding day decor. The fabric wreaths are almost complete. I'll probably finish those today considering it's my day off and it's raining. I've also started our DIY photo booth props! Rather excited about this as well. I must give credit to Ali for this one. She came up with the idea for the different props to use.
Another plus: I've addressed ALL of the invites amd stuffed all the envelopes! Just waiting to buy postage! 150 stamps!! Thank goodness for modern day sticker stamps because that would be a lot of licking.
With each day of preparation I get more and more excited for the big day. I keep picturing different moments of the day. Getting ready with my sisters, what the rows of chairs will look like, how the cake will taste, what Ryan will look like all done up in his tux. It is going to be more than I can imagine.
Keep loving. And dreaming.
Oh, that dreaming part! You bring tears to my eyes and a big grin to my face. :) I can imagine your excitement!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are getting done what you need to for the wedding! C Even though it is only because of a crappy allergy attack :/
