Our Beginning

R and I's very first meeting was the Fall of 2009, around October, I think. However our first date wasn't until after the new year came. It was a simple get together. Just a movie (I don't even remember what movie it was) and lots of talking to get to know one another. After that first date we were inseparable. Because of college and work and internships, etc. we spent a lot of time at my place doing simple, relaxing things like listening to music, studying and just getting know each other.

We made our relationship official at the end of January and just kept having a lot of fun and moving forward. We moved in together shortly after calling it "official." I say it was because the situation was just right but maybe it was just wrong on one end and it worked perfectly on the other. I met his crazy and goofy group of guy friends, that are much like family. And he slowly met ALL (there's 8 of us) of my family.

So we spent Spring and Summer 2010 together. We were blessed with many sunny days with M, R's daughter. And I was so thankful that she opened up to me right away. Beach, fireworks, parks, camping, pool time with family and games galore (all of which are our favorite things to do). Our first Summer together was a lot of work but a lot of really good memories as well.

R must have had such an amazing time that he proposed in September. And BAM! Hello wedding planning!

The journey so far has been great. Not perfect, but great! I've never met someone as motivated and exciting as Ryan. For me, he's that guy that measures up. I can mark off all the things on my "dream guy" list! He's definitely the one.

The Miller's aren't just 3 peas in a pod anymore. We're 4! And the whole world has changed. When our daughter came into our lives the world stopped for just a moment, then fast forwarded on hyper speed. Keeping up with our ever changing, smart, busy little girl is one of the best struggles of our every day routine. I couldn't ask for more in a daughter. She shines and I shine, she giggles and we all giggle.

The best part about where we are now is the surprise and unexpectedness. I never would have thought having a family would happen so fast. However, I'm so glad it did.
