Today was one of the more enjoyable days of the week, even though its Monday. I had a shorter shift at work, a mere 3.5 hours. My favorite part about it is the time flies and I don't mind mundane tasks like prepping vegetables and asking customers, "would you like that toasted?" Before I know it I'm on my way home to meet Edee with a smile, hugs and kisses. I miss her in those few short hours.
Clouds drapped over Grand Haven today and rain fell on and off. Its the perfect weather for sleeping in, reading a good book in your favorite spot, cuddling up with a special someone or napping in the afternoon. None of which I found time for.
However, I did find time to play with Edee, visit with my sister, unpack a couple more boxes and decorate the new homestead a little more. All of which are rather good substitutes for the perfect weather things I could do on this rainy day. I enjoyed my afternoon.
This evening Ryan and I are plopped on the couch watching the March Madness final game. He is rather ecstatic about Michigan being in the National Championship. I'm more excited about watching him get excited. *grin*
Tomorrow is a day off for me. Well, from work atleast. It might just be another day of fun little to-dos because I know for sure rain is in the forecast. Spring has sprung.
