Is it Friday already? Wow! Where do the days go? They are flying by me so quickly I even forgot to share that E is 19 months old (7 days ago). Maybe that’s why we celebrate birthdays once a year. Celebrating a monthly birthday is just too much.
Well, since time flies by so quickly and my blog posts have been fewer and fewer lately I better give you an update.
E is still very much in love with Elmo. Elmo cereal, stuffed Elmo, Elmo lunch box (I had to get it for her!), and some Elmo TV shows. She loves it all. We visited the used toy shop in town and once we found a tiny Elmo character she was done. Plopped right down on her baby bottom and sat and played with the mini figurine, mini wagon and mini easle until it was time to go. Sadly, she is slowly moving away from ‘Poo-Bee’ (aka Pooh Bear and not to be confused with poopy). She still likes the memorabilia but not the movie. Maybe the 1410 times we watched it was enough for her.
She says, ‘you’re welcome.’ My 19 month old says 'you’re welcome'! I could skip around the block. I am amazed at her politeness. It’s been equal efforts from myself, R and our awesome daycare provider but the fact that she knows how to use and when to say the words ‘you’re welcome’ makes this mama very pleased. It’s confirmed: we’re doing a good job.
Well, I finally set foot on a golf course, this season anyways. Sadly, it came in the way of wet feet, grey skies and search party of three. R had a little (okay BIG) mishap with our car keys. A sleepless night, stomach ache and 2 hours of looking later we found them. Thank you to all that helped in our search for the missing keys. It saved us more than you know!
Other than that things are going very well! Work is good, everyone is healthy and happy.
