Thanks for the cups and bows Grandma D!
Maybe it is the way her hair is laying today. Right around her ears it kind of poofs out and looks rather mangy. Plus, her bangs keep falling forward and cover her eyes. She doesn't mind but I feel like they are in her way so I continuously swipe them to the side. I am sure they bother me more than they bother her.
I try to imagine how she will look with her hair evenly chopped around her face. I've seen little ones with cute haircuts and other kids with hack jobs. I just can't imagine her hair all chopped off. Even just a trim is going to make her look so much older.
I keep remembering my Mom saying, "As long as you don't cut it those curls will stay." Because that's exactly what mine did when I was little.
So, here I sit wondering what to do with my little girls hair. Because of my uncertainty I won't dare touch it until I am 100% ready to say good-bye to the baby fine, soft curls (which will be never.)
It is time to take advantage of the bows and clips and do a pony tail or pig tails to keep the hair out of her blue eyes.
Keep Loving.
