Another fast 5 days and we are through the first week of march and on to the second. Luckily this week was full of new experiences at work, great conversations with R and more surprises from our growing girls.
Today, I am headed to Pentwater for a baby shower. I am looking forward to seeing family and friends that I haven't seen in too long. I can't wait to see my parents and grandparents as well. Keeping in touch with family is very important to me but the winter weather has pushed back a much needed visit. My grandparents haven't since she was about 8 months old (I think). Oh wow, our last visit was WAY too long ago.
Because E's very first sitter offered to take her for a couple hours last night R & I jumped on the chance to take M to see a movie in theaters. It's one of our favorite past times. (Yes, past time. Toddler and movie theater does not mix.) We went to see Frozen. It was GREAT! I admit I cried within the first 5 minutes. The movie is about sisters, what else would I do. I won't tell you much more just in case you haven't seen it. Once again, Disney did an excellent job.
I've been doing some great things at work. Every day is a surprise. Even though I mentally prepare myself for the day; going through my to-do list, it never works. Who knew I'd walk into work and design a new logo, t-shirts, a website, etc. My boss is very good at thinking of brand new, great ideas. It keeps me on my toes.
The passed couple days I've been feeling slightly overwhelmed with my new focus, demands and amounts of information I've been learning. Don't get me wrong I love it and definitely enjoy it but accomplishing things and making a difference is important to me. I want to make sure I am making a difference for the company. After a long, very informative conversation with my hubby I decided to start writing down a business plan. Even with a mission statement I feel so much better. I am very excited to finish it and present it.
I recommend a business plan for any long-term project. If you find a helpful template answering the specific questions will help you really narrow in on your thoughts and focus on what, why and how you will accomplish your goals.
Off to get ready for a little road trip.
Happy Saturday. Keep Loving.
