The snow is here again. It's been swirling around all day. TA DA I'm back in the holiday spirit. Christmas music and all. I am not sure why the snow excites me so much this year. However, I'm filled with cheer and excitement today. It has been a great Saturday!
Today has been a win-win in the Miller house today!
We started out with a breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, orange juice and coffee. Diane, my sister and friend Amber joined us. We are always glad to have company. Breakfast was delicious.
While Grandma watched E we booked it over to Toys R Used to look for deals on gently used toys for M and E. I was so excited R came along. He's never been there before. I was so glad he joined in on this shopping trip because I appreciate his perspective. We found things I wouldn't have found on my own.
I really appreciate that Grandma stayed at home with E. I know she really enjoys it too. So R and I decided to do a bit more holiday shopping. I feel like we never have enough time to just look when we go shopping because lil Miss E only lasts so long. Having Grandma at home with her was very helpful. A win-win 100%.
R took off to a buddies to bottle a beer that finished brewing. Did I tell you he is brewing his own beer now? Check out his blog if you want to know more. He planned on bottling his brew all week so I know he wanted to go. A win for him.
R's Mom, E and I relaxed for most of the afternoon and then the Christmas cheer hit me and I decided we had to go craft shopping. We walked around the aisles full of craft supplies for a couple hours. Up and down oohing and ahhing everything. We both checked off several items on our giving list and also decided on our craft for Christmas eve. I might have to make Christmas Eve craft time a tradition. I can't wait to sit down with M, nieces and nephew to make little holiday creations. Another win!
I hope all of you are getting into the holiday spirit! Please leave comments. I'd love to hear about your holiday plans.
Keep Loving.
