Tub-side writing.

Sunday evening writings:

I'm pretty sure E was a fish in another life. This girl loves loves loves water! Except for her VERY first baths, which we all know were just naked baby sprawled out on a towel, she has loved water. And now she could sit and splash and swim for...as long as mommy allows it.

I'm actually tub-side as I blog this evening, which is an attempt to multi-task and be patient while E soaks in oatmeal and warm water. My little babe has a pretty red bottom. The diaper rash appeared all of a suddden and so far baking soda, ointments nor powders have not touched it. I think at this point it is upsetting me more than her. So, I'm trying an oatmeal bath as recommended from many Moms online.

I sure hope it works! I'm pretty sure she is getting more teeth and the rash is a result of this.

Monday:

On the bright side E's diaper rash has improved!! The redness has almost disappeared. Whether it was the oatmeal bath, Burt's Bees Baby Bees Multi Purpose ointment or several diaper changes through the night we have a healing baby bottom. Hip hip hooray! Isn't it amazing how something like a diaper rash can consume half my blog entry and all of my focus for the weekend?! Maybe it's a natural instinct to cure what isn't 100%?

I also must share that I can check off #1 on my Fall to-do list! (In addition to #8, which I have yet to dedicate an entry too.)

We made our very first visit to Vander Mill's. E loved the big orange pumpkins, the kid size train, swinging and sliding in the playground and playing with a bin of small gourds. R and I loved the fresh apple cider and spiced donuts. My mom spoiled us and sent us home with a couple fresh donuts for later. We decided to wait for Maddi and get pumpkins to carve this weekend. Besides for the bees that were very attracted to the cider Vandermill's is a neat place.

I am looking forward to crossing off a couple more of my Fall to-do list this weekend. I hope you all have a great week and are getting outdoors to enjoy the splendor Fall.

Keep loving.
