Today has been a much needed lazy Sunday. The light showers that sprinkled Grand Haven on and off made relaxing even better. However, we still managed to get a few things done around the house; laundry, dishes, etc. And what better way to spend a Sunday than shopping with Mom!?
Both Moms were in town this weekend, which means double company, even more chatting and SHOPPING! Which, we don't do too often. It's a real treat and keeps a shopping trip extra special.
Saturday, we skipped on over to the "big antique mall." Our favorite one too visit. Dad even came along. I find antique shopping is BEST with my parents, because they take trips down memory lane, they usually can tell you what weird contraptions are and they remember some of the things I recall too. It IS SO MUCH FUN. Fall usually brings about more visits to other antique shops. I am looking forward to it!
Today our mission was the real sale shop, Jammies 2 Jeans, in Muskegon. We discovered this place a couple months back and it instantly became our go-to for the little's needs. The majority of the clothes are clean and prices are perfect. Thanks to both Grams I am pretty sure Edee is ready for Fall. I also found a polka dot outfit for her birthday party. Hooray.
After a long, successful weekend working downtown I had to reward myself and stop at TJ Maxx, one of my favorite clothing stores. All though I tried on 12 shirts, I only found 2 I couldn't live without. 2 fitted sweaters for this nippy weather we've been experiencing. R also found new cologne at reasonable price.
Gotta love bargain shopping. It's the way to go when living on a budget.
I also, couldn't have asked for a better afternoon. E plays and plays. Both R and I joined her on the living room floor. Can you see human jungle gym? She was crawling, climbing and giggling all while Dad played tricks of chasing and hiding. I can't get enough of how these two play. We all end up with a good laugh watching E.
Thank you Moms for treating us and our little ones. We greatly appreciate all that you do! And thanks for spending the weekend with us.
Keep Loving.
