The weekend went by so quickly. My sister, Kacey, was in town again this weekend. Even with a broken arm on the mend she is still chipper and chatty. We barely found time to catch up amongst all the lil ladies running around. I'm just so happy she is here. I can't get enough family time.
Maddi finally came to stay for the weekend, too. The days in between her visits are too many. We had a GREAT time! We all went to Fredrick Meijer Garden to see the butterfly exhibit. They have a caterpillar room now. The creepy crawly furry things were actually kind of neat to spot on half eaten leaves and pretty pink flowers. Edee did very well riding around in a stroller for part of the day.
Sunday we shared a big pot of homemade potato soup with my sister Katrina and her crowd. I was very happy to have all of us in one place. Even though we are only a couple blocks away it doesn't seem to happen very often. It was nice enough outside to wear the girls could run and play while we stayed inside with the babies. Our apartment was pretty full during dinner!
Monday arrived way to soon as usual. To be honest today feels more like Monday than Tuesday. Ryan and I were a little more tired this morning, as we usually seem to be Monday mornings. It was one of those mornings when I just couldn't seem to pry open my eyelids. Even little Edee slept 'til we had to walk out the door.
I've been getting more hours at work lately. Which doesn't leave much time for play; writing and crafting. Hence, the weekend update today. But, once Edee is in bed for the night I manage to spoil myself just a little before I head to bed. I've been working on a project I have high hopes for. I am in the processes of creating the reveal. I promise I will have it ready by Friday!! Until then be patient with this working Momma and wife.
