This new life is so busy.
Edee woke up at 8:45. There for I woke up at 8:46. The best part about our early morning was staying in bed extra long, (as it was my morning off) to cuddle under the big, warm comforter. When I burrow even further under the covers and get really close to Edee I can see how the covers look to Edee; even bigger than I thought. Oh, how I love mornings off.
Cousins know how to nap.
We spent some time with Aunt Trina and cousin Cooper today. He snuggles a little different than Edee does. I reminisced about Edee's 2-month stages as Cooper nuzzled into my neck and fell asleep in my arms. Lil Miss E is already at the stage of falling asleep in her crib. I think she kinda likes it in there.
Even though it's been a long day I enjoyed some rather in depth conversations with some other Mommies at the restaurant tonight. (Yeah, I picked up a shift.) Talking to the ladies I work with really changes my perspective on some of the every day mundane things. Laughing because we can somehow fold 3 loads of laundry, while watching our favorite television show and planning on getting together to let the babies play makes my world a little bit brighter. Now I know why Moms have Mommy groups.
My eyes are about to slam shut but my brain is on overload thinking of the things I could get done and have to do in the morning. But Edee is tucked in bed dreaming and I'm finally home with my husband. So, I'm going to give credit to all those working Mommies out there, I appreciate all you do! And sit on the couch and relax before I go and snuggle under that big, warm comforter again.
Keep loving.
