It's the weekend. And the best part about it is I actually have the weekend off. I could jump for joy. I would too if I didn't have a head cold. I was hoping it was allergies, as it felt that way at the beginning. But, turns out I have some sort of curse and must enjoy being sick. NOT! Thank goodness for 2 days off.
So I am pumping the vitamins. If I could do it intravenously, believe me, I would. And resting some more. Now that I have absolutely no morning sickness I can't wait to be able to smell and breathe through my nose. I am almost back to my old self again. (Well, except for a slowly emerging baby bump.)
We have Maddi this weekend. And Jordyn and Sadie. They are having a sleepover. With sleeping bags and the whole bit. I forgot how energetic, rambunctious and noisy little girls can be. They started out the evening chasing each other around the apartment all while making as much noise as possible. That escapade lasted about 2 minutes, which is just about all Ryan could handle. He gave them the idea of blanket fort making. Then came hide-n-seek and ring around the rosy. Both of which we all know are not quiet games either. And all of a sudden the girls are being quiet little darlings in Maddi's bedroom. Shew!! Kudos to Moms of more than one child. Motherhood here I come.
But, all chaos aside I am so happy and content to enjoy this weekend with my family. I've been missing out.
Tomorrow we plan on starting the day over at Trina and Brett's place for French toast! Or maybe pancakes. I'm sure there will be bacon too. Because there are a few bacon lovers in this family. Then, if the sun is shining, we plan on spending some time outside.
Obligations will eventually lead us to the old apartment for the rest of our belongings. It will be so nice once we have all our things in one place. But for tonight, its just relaxing with the 3 girls and my hubby. Movie time!
Keep loving.
