Time continues to fly by. There is one month and one day until the wedding. Until I call Ryan my husband. Until I become Mrs. Karlee Miller. I'm going to be a Miller. I can't believe that it's been a year ago this month that he proposed. Wow! We've been trustworthy and committed for almost 2 years already.
I anticipate another great month leading up to the wedding. Ryan and I are on the up and up as of recently. With so much to look forward to, obviously the wedding, new jobs, the Fall season, we just couldn't be happier.
We've set some goals for our near future -- things we want to accomplish and such. When there is a goal, there is direction. If 2 people have the same goal, there is togetherness. There's a few relationship fundamentals that make our little world go 'round.
I continue to receive RSVPs in the mail. With each response I picture familiar faces and feel so lucky that another loved one can join in our day. My family is so awesome they are partaking in a 30-day challenge of extreme walking, no carb and alcohol free diet. This is HUGE! How inspiring is that! I love my family just the way they are, 15 pounds heavier (or lighter). But if my wedding can inspire a healthful improvement I'm all for it. They'll be feeling the burn and I'll tell you what, I'll be feeling the love.
Tonight, Ryan and I are both home and relaxing before 9:00. Obviously by mentioning this, you can assume this isn't a normal occurance. He's training for the management position at the new job and I'm out early tonight, which is the first of many early nights to come this Fall, so we're sipping a Moscato/ champagne blend on our little balcony. We toasted to: Our new job and soon-to-be married life.
This change of pace is exactly what we needed right before the wedding. We're definitely welcoming it with open minds.
Keep loving.
Oh! I am so glad that you are relaxing and enjoying the evening! Mike and I are too. :) You are completely right about two people having the same goals and accomplishing togetherness at the same time. It is a neat thing to have. See you soon!
