Yesterday I, along with 6 other wonderful ladies, took a little trip to my home town (Pentwater) to attend my bridal shower. I might just go on forever about how wonderfully lovely the day was.
My mom and sister Katrina planned this occasion and they did an excellent job. The venue: The Cottage Garden Cafe. An adorable lil cafe with daisy bouquets on every table, bright floral and plaid table clothes with a view of Pentwater Lake from the porch. Just right for a small gathering to celebrate such an occasion of a bride to-be.
My Grand Haven sisters: Stephanie, Ali, Mikiala, Melissa, Tiffany, Sarah and Laura were there to experience the quant little town I talk of so often. We walked the main street and window shopped for awhile, ate ice cream and even antique shopped a bit too.
No worries in the world. Just hanging out waiting to celebrate becoming a bride!
Cousins, aunts, friends and sisters all came to bid me congrats and good lucks. I admit I had butterflies when everyone gazed upon me as I opened gifts and read bits of advice from everyone. And with each card I became more and more thankful.
My bridal shower was more than I could have imagined.
I honestly won't forget the day.
Keep loving. And celebrating.
