It's been wedding planning all day today. Mostly because I feel so behind with everything. Ryan, Mom and Trina (Maid of Honor) would say, you're doing just fine. But I have a huge list of things to do. And I keep reading and remembering all these things to do and the list keeps growing. Ahh! It makes my head spin.
On the more positive side we are making decisions and crossing things off the, oh so long, list!
In fact, today I met with Ali (my great friend and now recently: wedding designer) :D at a coffee shop to nail down the decore and feel we're going for. We decided on what we are calling vintage mod! Vintage with a modern spin.
I also decided on what to give my bridesmaids and maid of honor.
I can't wait! Ali is just as excited as I am. Which really helps! I've had all these plans and ideas bouncing around in my head for months and now they're finally taking shape!
I also took a few minutes to look at wedding programs online. Before today I hadn't put much thought into how exactly wedding ceremonies go or how I'd like my own to go. But once I sat down and looked at the examples of traditional wedding ceremonies I realized they are pretty standard and simple. And shew! did I get butterflies. It was one of those exciting/ nervous/ not knowing what's ahead feelings. I almost cried sitting there at the library computer. For some reason I had an emotional time thinking about what music will be playing as I walk down the isle.
I'm just so excited! It's going to be truly amazing!
