We had family photos taken last weekend by EYM Photography. She's amazing! I can't wait to see the finished products. She sent just a sneak peek and I like what I see so far. We had our photos taken in Rockford. I wanted to get out of town for the afternoon and check out a different town. Rockford is so cute! There are really pretty damns, trails and shops all tucked together.
We had to go early too. Ryan and Maddi couldn't miss the BIG Michigan vs. Michigan State game. We had a bite to eat and a few drinks at Rockford Brewing Company before photos. It was really nice to relax.
I think we can all agree we will go back. Except this time we will bring warmer clothes because brr! It was chilly.
Let's see, what else is going on?
Oh Halloween is next weekend. E has wanted to be one thing and one thing only: A Dragon. So that's what she is going to be. One of the only reasons why I am so excited about Halloween this year is her. Her and Daddy tried on their costumes for the first time last night (R is being a Knight) and she was ecstatic. She had to show off her tail and growl. She even showed me how Dragons flap their wings. This girl loves dragons. She loved that Dad's costume came with a sword too. They are going to be a perfect pair this year. (Maybe I'll dress up...E says I have to be a princess.)
The house is coming along. As R planned the living room is pretty much complete. He wanted to have one space done that we could relax in. Very smart! I love hanging out in there. Our frame wall is even complete.

One of my bigger accomplishment for myself was opening my Etsy shop. As most of you know I crochet in the bits of spare time I have and all of these finished projects are just hanging out. So, why not put them out there for the world to see? Okay, it sounds a lot easier than it is. I was scared to finally open my shop. It took me forever. On top of that it's last in a long line of priorities but I finally opened my Etsy shop. Check it out!
I've also been volunteering more. The volunteer experience, whether graphic design related, donating time or some form of crafting like what I've been doing for Twitch the Epilepsy Fighting Monster, the experience is rewarding. I have enjoyed meeting people and love that I am helping people all over the world.
So October has been a pretty good month. I hope every one is enjoying Fall. Thanksgiving and Christmas and SNOW are going to be here before we know it.
Until next time. Keep loving.
I cant wait to see E as a dragon! How awesome and unique!
