Double J was a lot of fun. I forget that a ranch, water park, horses and more is only 30 minutes away. It was nice to get away for a couple hours and spend some time with the girls.
I think Maddi went down the water slide 25 times. She even convinced me to go down twice. That was more than enough for me.
It's already week 3 of being in the new house. It still feels exciting but the unreal part has faded. I was walking into the kitchen, rushing to grab one more thing on our way out the door and a wave of emotion came over me. I felt so lucky that we finally made it into a house. I love our home.
Ry has starte projects here and there. The living room is the most complete and I have to say the changes he's made with trim, crown molding and paint make a big difference.
The girls' room might time awhile because crazy me wants chevron stripes. I'm so glad my hubby is ambitious about painting.
Every day I unpack a box. We're getting closer and closer to being unpacked. I have no idea how we crammed all our stuff in that apartment. I've said "we have to much stuff" too many times.
But, I'm sorting through things, donating things and handing the hand-me-downs to my nieces as I go. All though it's tiring it feels great to unpack each box. I might even have a mini celebration and fist pump. :D
Next up is planning E's 3rd birthday party. Yes, 3rd. I'll save the details for another day.
Keep loving.
