Bug,

You are the coolest 2 year old I know.

We're sitting here in your room, you in your white puffy diaper, I in my pjs and you're counting monkeys. I have a silly grin plastered all over my face. I can't get enough of you.

You count 1-10 and love the number 13, which you keep saying over and over again. Terteen. Terteen. Terteen. Until today I didn't realize you knew passed the number 3.

That babysitter of yours is pretty cool. I can't take all the credit for how awesome and smart you are. She's taught you a lot.

I also just found out you sing, "No mow monkeys jumpin on da bed." (The whole reason we are sitting on your bedroom floor playing with little colorful, plastic monkeys.) I had to pull out your big sister's monkey game. Yet again you are in love with another toy. Ofcourse. "New" toys are the best!

You now love cuddling in bed before you fall asleep. You are so busy all the time so sleep takes awhile. We sing, hug and cuddle for a long time. I don't mind too much. I know soon enough you will be over cuddling with Mama.

While laying, cuddled up in your dark room I taught you "twinkle, twinkle little star." We sing that now too. I love listening to your little voice. It's the best sound in the world.

We celebrated today with popsicles a.k.a. oppicles, snacks at daycare and the birthday song (oh you know that one too) all day. You talk to Grandma in Texas and Grammie in Pentwater. I am not sure who loves hearing one anthers voice more, you or them.

I am so excited for another year of laughing, learning and growing. I am so lucky to be your mama.

Happy Birthday.

Keep Loving.
